At Resilience Counseling & Play Therapy, Tammy Wilson provides compassionate, evidence-based counseling for children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional challenges. Tammy is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™, Internationally Credentialed Sandtray Therapist, EMDR-trained clinician, and perinatal mental health provider.
Tammy specializes in trauma and grief work across the lifespan, with additional experience supporting clients with ADHD, perinatal mood concerns, military-related stress, college and career challenges, and adjustment difficulties. She has also completed Level 1 Animal Assisted Play Therapy training and is excited to begin incorporating this unique and innovative therapeutic approach into services within the community.
Tammy works with children ages 3+, teens, and adults, utilizing developmentally appropriate and creative therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. She offers a thoughtfully designed play and sandtray therapy environment, including a dedicated adult therapy and sandtray space that promotes comfort, safety, creativity, and healing. Her therapeutic spaces are intentionally created to support meaningful growth through evidence-based interventions and expressive therapies.
At RCPT, the focus is on helping clients process past and present stressors, build resilience, and move toward healing with hope and confidence. Tammy is known for her authentic compassion, warmth, and ability to connect with clients in a supportive and empowering way. Her goal is to help individuals and families feel understood, strengthened, and equipped to become the healthiest versions of themselves.
